a) Personal information
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. Certain sections of ovma.org are reserved for veterinarians and veterinary students, and within the Site are pages for OVMA members. We require personal information such as your OVMA identification number and password to confirm your identity as an OVMA member and veterinarian. If you do not provide us with this personal information, you will not be able to visit the veterinarians’ only and members' only sections of the site.
b) Email address
We also require your email address so that we can confirm to you the information you requested through the automated features of the Site or to confirm the successful transmission of information you submitted through the Site.
c) Credit card transactions
Some transactions on the Site require the following information:
Personal identifying information collected in these sections of the Site is used for billing and shipping of goods or services sold. Credit card information is sent to OVMA for approval and processing of the online transaction. This information is used for no other purpose than to process credit card transactions conducted on the Site. We retain a record of your billing and shipping information and credit card information.
Only selected individuals within the OVMA have access to the personal information that you provide through the Site.
